Did you know Thanksgiving Eve is the Biggest Drinking Night of the Year? Commonly referred to as Drinksgiving, here are the top 4 reasons why Thanksgiving Eve is the biggest drinking night of the year.
- The majority of people have the following day, Thanksgiving, off.
- The stress of travel makes one desire some stiff libations once you have arrived at your destination.
- Your crazy cousin and high school lab partner are amped up that you’re in town and demand you to take Goldschalger Apple Pie Shots.
- Your excuse after the 4th drink is “all I have to do is listen to dad jokes and eat all day“ makes you drink that last one that you over the edge.
Aside from a big Thanksgiving meal the next day, Bloody Gerry is the best hangover cure.
In celebration of Black Out Wednesday, Thanksgiving Eve, Drinksgiving, we present the High Brow Bloody Mary. It’s light on toppings because we know you’ll be hitting the appetizer bar hard right after you pop two more Advil LiquiGels.

Grab a cocktail skewer and stab a cherry tomato, mozzarella ball, and olive for garnishes.
Pour 5 oz of Bloody Gerry in a cocktail shaker with ice, add 1.5 oz of vodka or the liquor of your choosing, give it a swirl and pour into a coupe glass because it’s Thanksgiving and we’re keeping it classy this year.
