Have you wondered how people are making these incredible Snackadiums? Learn to make the American Football themed stadium of snacks called a Snackadium. Overflowing with snacks, chips, dips, sandwiches, meats, cheese, cold cuts and more, the snackadium is by far the most impressive and die-hard fan’s way to showcase their team spirit. It will make the perfect centerpiece for your Superbowl party and will be talked about and shared with friends and family for weeks to come!
The 2nd Snackadium I built (we won't talk about the disastrous first Snackadium) was in 2013 with my friend Polina. This was made using aluminum foil trays, cardboard, and cardstock from Blick art supplies. This took about 8 hours and wasn’t too hard to assemble. You’ll need 3 large aluminum serving trays, foam board (or cardboard if you prefer) and colored paper to wrap the stadium with your team’s colors.
If you score the foam board or card board multiple times say 4 or 5 scores in ¼-½ in sections you can curve a corner and create a rounded stadium. Do this for all 4 corners.
To create a staggered stadium so it looks like stadium seating cut each piece at an angle and use that one piece as the form for the rest. You’ll use these pieces to separate snacks in different stadium seating areas. Some people use soda boxes cut at an angle to create the seating.

For fun you can use popsicle sticks and printed logos for each snack’s seating section so it looks like they’re sponsored sections.
The field was our favorite part because we knew we wanted to do 5 layer bean dip but we also wanted a green field and didn’t want it to be guacamole, it had to have a grass-like texture so we came up with shredded cheese dyed green for the football field turf. Use shredded Monterey Jack or mozzarella cheese in a ziplock bag and a few drops of bright green food coloring. Use the liquid food coloring, not the gel food coloring because the gel contains sweeteners for baking and it’ll ruin the flavor. Shake well to distribute the color and spread over the last layer of your 5-layer Super Bowl bean dip.
Use Slim Jim’s and toothpicks to create edible field goal poles.
You can decorate the outside of the stadium with printouts of stadium photos or you can stack sandwiches, crackers and cheese, or other finger food. You want to have some kind of coverage to the outside of the stadium.
